ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE"
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS ON THE 12TH DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING A PART OF THE MAP OF
THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY
OF VANCE NAUMANN ACCORDING TO THE MAP THEREOF
FROM RS RESIDENTIAL SINGLE TO RM -2 MULTIFAMILY,
AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning
Map of the City of Georgetown, be amended so that the property
described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from "RS
Residential Single Family" to "RM -2 Multifamily."

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the zoning ordinance on the
following described real estate:
Being all of that certain tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated in the City of Georgetown in Williamson
County, Texas and being the south 1/2 of Block 31 of
00
Glasscock's Addition to the City of Georgetown, Williamson
co
County, Texas and being that certain property conveyed to
L. J. Mayo by Herman Burson and wife, Laverne Burson by
deed dated February 22, 1944 and recorded in Volume 320,
Page 598, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.

AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the
changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described
property from RS Residential Single Family to RM -2 Multifamily,
which said meeting was held on the 5th day of May, 1981; and
WHEREAS, written -notice was given to all of the owners of
lots within 200 feet of the above described property as required
by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change
aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance, said approval being given by
said Commission on May 5, 1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning
Map of the City of Georgetown, be amended so that the property
described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from "RS
Residential Single Family" to "RM -2 Multifamily."
