FOR THR YEAR OF 1914.
Pe it ordained by the Cit;r Council-ofntho Cltyi%of George-
town, Texas: --
see. 1. That to meet the current expenses of the City of Geo-
rgetown, Texas, and t& carry on the City Government of said City
for the year of 1914, there is here and now levied and shall be
collected an annual .ad valorem tax of twenty-five cents on the
$100.00 assessed valuation for the year ad 19149 of all real and
personal property and estate in the City of Georgetown, Texas,
not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Lars of the State
of Texas.
Seto. 2. That to work, grade and improve the streets of the
City of Georgetown, Texas, For the year of 1914,there inhere and
now levied and shall be collected an annual ad valorem tax of Fif-
teen Cents on the 1100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914
of all real and personal property and estate in the City of George-
town, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and
Laws of the State of Texas.
Sao: 2. That for the support and maintenance of the Public
Free Schools in the City ofreorgetown, Texas, for the year of 1014,
and as determined according to law by an aleetion heretofore held
in said City for said purpose, there is here and now levied and
skall be collected an annual ad valorem tax of Forty Cents on the
$100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914, of all real and
personal property and estate in the City of Georgetown, Texas, not
exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Laws of the State of
Texas,and the amount of the taxes collected as provided for in
this Section shall constitute a separate a separate fund and shall
be used for no other purpose than as herein specified.
Seo. 4. That to pay the interest and create a sinking; fund
to meet the $12,000.00 in bonds of this City known as the "City of
Georgetown Refunding; School House Ponds"as evidenced by twelve
#1000.00 unpaid bonds, issued for the purpose ofrefunding, cancel-
ling and in lieu of certain bonds known as "Public School Building
Bands" as shown by ordinanceof this City passed and approved on
November 13th, 1905,such ordinance being; Sections 117 to 129, in-
clusive, of the Revised Civil and Criminal Ordinences of the City
of Georgetown, Texas, and as provided in said ordinance there is
here and now levied mnd shall be collected for the year of 19149
an annual ad valorem tax of Eight Cents on the $100.00 assessed
valuation for the year of 1914, of all real and personal property
and estate in the City of Georgetown, Texas, not exempt from taxa-
tion by the Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas, and the
amount of taxes collected under the provisions of this Section
shall constitute a special fund and small be used for no other
purpose than that herein specified.

to meet the $32,000.00 in bonds of this City, known as "City of
Georgetown Water Works Bonds" as evidenced by thirty-two $1000.00
unpaid bonds, issued for the purpose of constructing a waterworks
plant in the City of Georgetown, Texas,as shown by ordinance of
this City, passed and approved on October 18th, 1910, and as pro-
vided in said ordinance, there is here and now levied and shall be
collected for the year of 1914, an annual ad valorem tax of Twelve
Cents on the $100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914, of
all real and personal property and estate in the City of Georgetown
Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and haws of the
State of Texas, and the amount of taxes collected under the provis-
ions of this Section shall constitute a special fund and shall be
used for no other purpose than that herein specified.
Seo. 8. That to pay the interest and create a sinking fund
to meet the 1139000.00 in bonds of thisCity known as "City of Geo-
rgetown Electric Light Bonds" as evidenced by 13 $1000.00 unpaid
bonds, issued for the purpose of constructing an electric light
plant in the City of Georgetown, Texas, as shown by ordinance of
this City, passed and approved on tics October 18th, 19109 and as
provided in said ordinance, there is here and now levied and shall
be collected for the year of 1914, an annual ad valorem tax of
Five Cents on the $ 100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914,
of all real and personal property and estate in the City of George-
town, Texas, not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Lawes
of the State of Texas, and the amount of taxes collected under the
provisions of this Section shall constitute a special fund and
shall be used for no other purpose than that herein specified.
See.9. That to pay the interest and create a sinking fund
to meet the $13500.00 in bonds of this City known as "City of
Georgetown Water Works Bonds, Second Series" as evidenced by Twen-
ty-seven $500.00 unpaid bonds, issued for the purpose of completing
the waterworks plant in said City, as shown by ordinance of this
City passed and approved on December 8th, 1413, and as provided in,
said ordinance, tkere is here and now levied and shall tre collect-
ed for the year of 1914, an annual ad valorem tax of Five Cents on
the $100.00 assessed valuation for the year of 1914, of all real
and personal property andestate in the City of Georgetown, Texas,
not exempt from taxation by the Constitution and Lags of the State
of Texas, and the amount of taxes collected under the: provisions of
this Section shall constitute a saparete fund and shall be used 150
for no other purpose than that herein specified.
