TREASURER AND THE ASSHSSOR AND COLLECTOR OF THE CITY OF
GHORGETO"iN, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, that:
Section 1. The Treasurer of the City shall give bond
in favor of the City in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollare, with
sufficient security to be approved by the City Council, and
conditioned for the faithful discharge of his duties as such
Treasurer, and, if said bond becomes insufficient at eny time
the City Council may require a new bond and the Treasurer shall
do no official act until such new bond is approved.
Section 2. The assessor and Collector shall give bond
in favor of the City in the sun of Five Thousand Dollars with
good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the City Council
ana conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties as
such Assessor and Collector, and if the City Council at any time
deems the existing bond insufficient they shall require a new
bond and such officer shall perform no official act until such
new bond is executed and approved.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed; provided that the bands of
said officers as now executed shall remain in full force and
effect until the election and qualification of their successor*
unless new bonds are required under the provisions of this
ordinance.
