HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 10.15.1906 - Breachy AnimalsAN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TAB RUNNING AT LARGE OF BRRACHY ANNALS AND ASSESSING PENALTIES. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas. It shall be unlawful for the owner or any person in charge or control of any horse, mule, eo* or other domesticated animal which is breach, or which habitually opens gatesq or tears down# or jumps or breaks through fences, or which depredates upon any enclosurep or upon goods in front of any store, or upon contents of any farm or other wagons and vehicles, to wilfully allow such horse, mule, cow or other domesticated animal to run at large within the corporate limits of this city, and any person viol- ating the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than One nor more than Twenty-five Dollars; and each and every day that such horse$ mule, cow or other domesticated animal is thus allowed to run at 1 arge.shall constitute a dis- tinct and separate offense.
