HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 10.08.1906 - Street MerchantsAN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE OF MERCHANDISE ON ANY PUBLIC STREET OR PUBLIC PLACE AND ASSESSING PENALTIES. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas that: It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to occupy or use any street or other public place belonging to this City for the purpose of selling or traffioing in any merchandise or anything, other than farm, dairy or ranoh products, and any person violating this ordinance shall upon conviction be fined in aror sum not exceeding Twenty-five*Dollars; and each day that this ordinance `is violated shall constitute distinct and separate offence.
