LEAVING OF ANY TRASHt RUBBISH, LOOSE DIRT, STONE, BUILDING
MATERIAL OR MATERIAL OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER WITHIN THH STREETS
OR ALLEYS9 SE"QRS, DRAINS, OR DITCH1F.S OF THIS CITYO AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR A VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAII`MED by the City Council ofthe city of
Georgetown, Texas.
That it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to
throw, place or leave any trash, rubbish, loose dirt, stone,
building material or material of any kind whatsoever, not
used in the actual construction and use of a street, in the
said streets, alleys or sidewalks of the City of Georgetown.
It shall also be unlawful for any person or persons to leave,
place, permit to be placed and so left by any person in his
employ by his directions, or allow the said employes, with
his permission, to leave, place or permit to be left or placed
any of the above described material in a drain, sewer or
ditch, or street or alley, or sidewalk, in this said city,
and a violation of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine
of not less than $5.00 and not more than $25.00.
Provided, however, that a reasonable time shall be allowed•
all contractors or builders to remove their accumulated trash,
rubbish, stone and building material after having completed
or relinquished his said contract for building, provided no
longer time than one week after they shall have so completed
or relinquished their.said contract, be allowed for the removal
of said rubbish, trash, etc.
And Further, that each and every day after the violation
of this ordinance, that said trash, rubbish, building material
etc, be allowed and suffered to reamin in said street or alley,
or in said sewersp drains and ditcheso shall be and constitute
a separate and distinct offense, punishable as such under the
terms of this ordinance.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
