THE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TERAS, TO BE ELECTED AT
THE REGULAR CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITv, ON THE FIRST
TUESDAY IN APRIL, 19130 BEING THE FIRST DAY OF SAID MONTH.
Be 1t ordained by the City Council of tke City of George-
town, Texas: --
Seo. 1. Tke Marshall and Street Commissioner skall receive
for kis services, as stick Marshal, tke sun of Tkirty-five Dollars
per montk as compensation therefor, and as compensation for kis
services as Street Commissioner, tke sun of Fifteen Dollars per
month, botk payable nonthly. He skall further receive suck fees
In criminal eases as are now provided by law in all cases in
wkick ke may be entitled to fees in tke Corporation Court.
See. 2. Tko Assessor and Collector skall receive as com-
pensation for kis services tke strum of five (5) per cent an tke
General and Street Fund,and one (1) per cent of the etker funds,
on the total account of kis rolls of assessment after tke same
leave been made up and accepted by tke Board.of Equalization of s
said City,and said City Council, as compensation for such assess
sent, and ke sgall resolve as compensation for tke collection of
said taxes tke sun of five (5) per cent on all tke ad valorem
taxes, in tke General and Street Funds so collected by kin, and
tke sum of one (1) per cent an all otker funds so collected by
kin, tke same to be payable monthly at any time after it becomes
due . ,
See. 3. Tke City Secretary skall receive as compensation
for kis services the sure of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per
year, payable monthly, and ke skall furtker receive all fees al-
lowed kin by law in tke Corporation Court of the City of George-
town.
Seo. d. Tke City Atterne skall receive as compensation fw
kis services the sun of Five 05.00) Dollars in cask case in the
Corporation Court in wkisk a plea of guilty is entered and tke
sura of Ten 010.00) Dollars for every conviction in said Court
in wkiek a plea of not guilty is entered and a trial resuls in a
conviction, these amounts, kowever, are not to cone out of tke
City except wkers tke fine is worked out on tke streets and tken
only kali is to be paid, but are to be paid by the defendant, as
is governed by tke law regulating the Corporation Courts of tkis
State and is to receive suck other compensation as tke City Couri-
ail may from tine to time allow.
See. 5. Tke Treasurer of tare City of Georgetown shall re-
volve as compensation for kis services the sum of Fifty (t50.00)
Dollars per year, payable monthly.
Sec. 6. Each of tke tkres Aldermen to be elected on said
