CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TICAS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of George-
town, Texas, that in accordance with the provisions of an ordi-
nance providing for the construction, ote., of sidewalks in said
City, and passed and approved on tke 11tk day, of Doaember, A.D.,
1905s it is hereby ordered tkat sidewalks be constructed on tke
North side of Oak, or 8tk street, from Forest street to Rodges
street, and on the West side of Church street from University
Avenue, or 12th street., to Outlet Ne. 5, as skown by tke sap of
said City, and on tke Nortk site of 9th street, or Locust street
from Main street to the Soutkwest corner of Flock 10, Rucker &
Hedges Addition.
It to further ordered tkat sidewalks be built four feet
gide, and tkat me curb skall be required. It is furtker ordered
tkat said sidewalks be constructed of cement in accordance witk
tie specifications provided In said sidewalk ordinance for *a-
nent sidewalks, such specifications being Class No. 1, in said
ordinance and are as follows: --Te, be filled within five Inckes
of established grade and tk*n well rammed and packed, and then
use sand, gravel and best Portland cement in following propor-
tions: One part cement, tkrees parts clean sharp gritted sand,
and four parts clean gravel, sand and cement to be well mixed in
dry state, teen gravel added witk sufficient water to adult of
being tkarrougkly workei up together and well rammed, the ramming
to take place before tke cement begins to set and not too much
water to be used in tke manipulations but sufficient water to be
used to cause water to rise to the surf &a* when tkoroughly rarsr--
=ed, tkis mixture to be four Inches in thickness; tkern tke top
to be smootkad off with an inck tkickness of clean, sharp grit-
ted sand and cement in equal proportions.
