MARSHAL--- The Marshal shall receive for his ser-,
vines, as such m,7�rshal, tree sim of Forty Dollars per month
as compensation the ref. or, payabl a monthly. He shall further
receive such fees in criminal cases as are now provided by
law in all casee in which lie may be entitled to fees in the
Corporate Court, provided that when a fine is worked out the
City shell pay only one-half of such fees.
Section 2:
ASS3�7,90R ANT) COI,L.7rCTOR. The Assessor and Col-
lector ehall receive as compensation for his services the sum
of five (5) per cejbt on the General and street fund,and one
(1) per cent of the other funds, on the total amount of his
rolls of assessment after tiie same h"ve been made up and ac-
cepted by the Board of Equalization of said City, and said
City's Council, as compensation for such assesement,and he
shall receive as compensation for the collection of said
taxes the sum of five (5) per cent on all the ad valorem taxes,
in the General and Street funds so collected by him, and the
stun of one (1) per cent on all the other funds so collected
by him, the srorie to be nayaole monthly at any time after it
becomes due.
Section 3:
SRCRI'TARY. ' . "he City Secretary shall receive as
compensation for his services the sum of one Hundred ($100.00)
.Dollars per year, pa,ra,le monthly, and he shall further re-
ceive all fees allows him by law in the Corporation Court
of t$ze City of Georgetown.
Section 4;
CITY ATTOMI T�'Y.. The City Attorney, shall receive
as compensation for his services the Burn of Five ($5.00)
'dollars in each ca ��e in the Corporation Court in wtai ch a plea
of guilty is erste°,ee. and the Burn of Ten ($10.00) T'bllars for
every conviction in said Court,in wl2icah a plea of not guilty
is entered and a trial results in a conviction,these amounts,
however are not to come out of the City except where the fine
is worked out on the streets and teen only half is to be naid,
but aye to be paid by the defendant, a9 is governed by the
law regulating the Corraors.tion Courts of this State and is
to receive such other compensation as the City Council may
from, time to time allow.

TRHASUR7R. The Treasurer of the City of George-
town shall receive as compensation for his services the sum
of Fifty ($50.00) iblla.rs per year,payable monthly.
Section 6;
ALnERURN. Rach of the three aldermen to be elec-
ted on said date shall receive as compensation for their
services the sum of Three ($3.00) Dollars for each meeting
of the Council attended.
