GE'ORGET0171T, TEXAS, ON THE FIFTEENTH DAY OF NOVMTBER, A. D.1915,
TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THE SPECIAL SCHOOL TAX NOW LEVIED
AND COLLECTED IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOM, TERAS, FOR THE SUP-
PORT AND T1AIYTENA*tCL OF THE PUBLIC FREE SCHOOLS IN SAID CITY
SHALL BE INCMUSED FROM FORTY TO FIFTY CMTTS ON THE ONE
HUN'CH'ED DOLLARS VALUATION OF THF PROPrRTY SUBJECT TO TAXA-
TION IN SAID CITY: SUCH TAX TO BE LEVIED AND COLLECTED FOR
THE YEAR 1916, IF VOTED.
Be it Ordained,by the City Council of Georgetown,Texas,
that an election be and the same is hereby ordered to be held
in the City of Georgetown,Texas, on the 15th day of November,
A.D.1915, after (Tae notice be given,as is required by law,to
determine whether or not the special shcool tax now levied
and collected in the City of Georgetown,Texas, for the sup-
port end maintenance of the public free schools in said city
of Georgetown,Texas, shall be increased from eorty cents to
fifty cents on the One Hundred Dollars valuation of the prop-
erty subject to taxation in said city of Georgetown,Texas;
such tax to be levied and collected, if voted for, for the
year 1916, and annually thereafter unless same is discontinued
as is provided for by law; said election to be held as pro-
vided by law in such cases.
Passed and approved this the 11th day of October,A.D.1915.
