RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR,
DEDICATION AND PLAT OF
IAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS,
OF BLOCKS 45 & 33, AND
STREET OF SAID CITY AS S
RESOLUTION
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
CITY MANAGER AND SECRETARY TO EXECUTE A
A TRACT IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILL -
BEING 3.76 ACRES IN SAID CITY, AND BEING ALL
k PART OF WEST 7th STREET & A PART OF HODGES
HOWN BY THE OFFICIAL MAP HEREOF.
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and Sunrise
Construction Corporation, and Ima Mays are the owners of a tract of 3.76 acres in the
City of Georgetown, Texas, consisting of Blocks 45 & 33, and a part of West 7th Street
& a part of Hodges Street according to the official map of the City of Georgetown, William-
son County, Texas, (Sunrise Construction Corporation being the owner of Lot 1, Block 33,
and Ima Mays being the owner of Lot 4, Block 33) and;
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that the same be divided into lots for the purpose
of disposition of said tract of land; that a plat of said area containing field notes of the
same be filed in the proper records in the County Clerk's Office in the Court House of
Williamson County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain instruments setting forth the area be designated as
Lots 1-15, Block S, South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Addition, and the dedication of a
portion of 7th Street, and Hodges Street, be signed or executed by qualified officers of
the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Georgetown, the same to contain such conditions
or restrictions as set out and contained in the Urban Renewal Plan which is now on record
in the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas; now therefore be it
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the Mayor, City
Manager and City Secretary of the City of Georgetown, be, and they are hereby authorized
to execute on behalf of the City, and joined by Karl E. Nutting & Don R. Philips, President
and Secretary, respectively of Sunrise Construction Corporation, and Ima Mays, any and
all instruments necessary to place on record a plat and dedication of said Block in the City
of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and being all of Blocks 45 & 33, and a part
of West 7th Street and a part of Hodges Street of said City of Georgetown, Williamson
County, Texas, and including all such conditions and/or restrictions as may be necessary
under the Urban Renewal Plan as heretfore adopted and recorded in the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, this
12th day of April, 1976.
