AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING AN EASEMENT LYING BETWEEN
LOTS 7 AND 8 SERENADA EAST UNIT 2 IN BLOCK 1 A SUBDIVISION IN
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Ronald Hyden the owner of
lot 7 and 8, in Block 1 of Serenada East Unit 2.
WHEREAS, the petition states that the public utility easement running
along and 10 feet either side of the common boundry between Lots 7 and 8
of said subdivision has been inadvertently encroached and that more con-
venient and serviceable easements do exist, and
WHEREAS, the petitioner states he desires to eliminate any discrep-
ancies in title and it is desirable that said easement be abandoned and
vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, that the easement shown in Exhibit "A", is hereby vaca-
.—� ted, closed and abandoned, except that the City of Georgetown reserves for
C^ itself or for any public utility company the right to maintain, repair and
replace any water, sewer or other utility lines presently located in, upon
or over said easement.
