ORDINANCE NO. 79-25
AN ORDINANCE SETTING MINIMUM
DOMESTIC AND COMMERCIAL SEWER
RATES FOR THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the current minimum domestic sewer charge for
customers utilizing City of Georgetown sewer system is $1. 80 for
four (4) fixtures; and
WHEREAS, the current minimum commercial sewer charge
for customers utilizing City of Georgetown sewer system is �1. 80
for two (2) fixtures; and
WHEREAS, the minimum sewer charges must be raised to
maintain the continued sound fiscal status of the City of Georgetown;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Georgetown, Texas:
1. The minimum domestic sewer charge for customers
utilizing the City of Georgetown sewer system shall be $2.80 for
four (4) fixture units, and $0. 40 shall be charged for each additional
fixture unit.
2. The minimum commercial sewer charge for customers
utilizing the City of Georgetown sewer system shall be $3. 80 for
two " F,xture units, and $0.40 shall be charged for each additional
fixtuis unit. A charge of $1. 80 shall be made for each wash rack or
extractor.
3. Thic, ordinance shall become effective July 1, 1979.
PASSED this 8th day of May, 1979, on first reading. Passed
this day of 1979 on second and final
reading.
