AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE"
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNC L OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, ON THE DAY OF

THE MAP OF THV RIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE L,hE
PROPERTY OF RUSSELL DON PARKER AT THE SOUTH CORNER OF
SHANNON LANE AND WILLIAMS DRIVE (RM 2338), ACCORDING
TO THE MAP THEREOF FROM RS RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY
TO RM -3 MULTIPLE FAMILY; AS HERFINAFTER SET FORTH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for
the purpose of changing the zoning ordinance on the following
d^scribed real estate:
( See Exhibit A)
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing
of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from RS
Residental Single Family to "Rm-3 Multiple Family", which said
meeting was held on the 2nd day of January, 1979; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the
Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing same
one time in the SUNDAY SUN, a weekly newspaper in the City of
Georgetown, Texas, which notice staled the time and place of hearing
and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first
day of such publication; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of the
lots within 200 feet of the above described property as required
by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change
aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance, said approval being given by
said Commission on January 2, 1979;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City -
of Georgetown, that the Zoning Ordnance, and the Zoning Map of
the City of Georgetown, be amended so that the property described
above shall be and the same is hereby removed for "RS Residential
Single Family" to "RM -3 Multiple Family".
Read, passed, and adopted by 5 votes Aye, and
0 votes Nay, this 9thday of Januarx _ 1979,
on first reading.

Being the West 1/2 of a tract 120 foot x 320 foot of land belonging to Russell Don Parker
et ux located at the intersection of Shannon Lane and Williams Drive (RM 2338) in Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the NW corner of Lot 3, Block 1, Gabriel Heights, an addition in and
to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas according to the map or p lot thereof of
record in Vol. 4, Page 25, Cabinet B, Slide %, Plat Records, Williamson County, Texas.
THENCE in a northerly direction and along the East ROW line of the said Williams Drive
(RM 2338) a distance of 120 feet more or less to the most NW corner of the said Parker tract and
the SE corner of the intersection of Shannon Lane and the said Williams Drive (RM2338) for the
NW corner hereof;
THENCE in an easterly direction and along the South ROW line of said Shannon Lane a
distance of 160 feet for the NE corner hereof;
THENCE in a southerly direction and parallel to the said Williams Drive a distance of 120
feet more or less to the NE corner of the said Lot 3, Block 1 of the said Gabriel Heights
Addition for the SE corner hereof,
THENCE in a westerly direction and along the North line of the said Lot 3, Block 1
aforesaid a distrance of 160' to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
