ORDINANCE NO. 78-31
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
ON THE 12th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT
MAP, AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL
ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY BEING LOCALLY KNOWN AS 1301
OLIVE STREET, FROM R -S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE TO RM -1 RESIDENTIAL MULTIPLE
AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of changing
the Zoning Ordinance on the following described real estate:
Part of Block 31 Of Snyder Addition
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning
Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning
Ordinance on the above described property from R -S Residential Single to RM -1 Residential
which said meeting was held on the 7th day of November, 1978; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council,' before adopting this amendment to the Zoning Ordin-
ance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing same one time in the WILLIAMSON
COUNTY SUN, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which notice
stated the time and place of hearing'and which time was not earlier than fifteen day s
from the first day of such publication; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of lots within 200 feet
of the above described property as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the Zoning
Ordinance, said approval being given by sai Commission on the 7th day of November,
1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of George-
town, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be
amended so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from
R -S Residential Single to R -M Residential Multiple.
Read, Passed and Adopted by 5 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 14th day of November
1978, on first reading.
Read, passed and adopted by 4 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 12th day of December
1978, on second reading.

Field Notes for 1301 Olive Street:
BEING a part of Block 31, Snyder Addition to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County,
Texas. This survey was performed on the ground in the month of August, 1978, using the
information available from the Revised Map of Snyder's Addition to the City of Gea"getown,
as recorded in volume 67, Pages 502-503, Deed Records of said county, and recent surveys
of adjoining property, and being more particularly described below:
BEGINNING at an iron pin set at the intersection of the East line of Olive Street and the
South Line of 13th Street, marking the N. W. corner of said Block 31, for the N. W. corner
hereof,-
THENCE

THENCE East 100.00 feet, with the said South I ine of 13th Street, to an iron pin found
for the N. E. corner hereof;
THENCE South 107.00 feet to an iron pin found for the S. E. corner hereof;
THENCE West 100.00 feet to an iron pin found in the said East line of Olive Street, for the
S. W. corner hereof;
THENCE North 107.00 feet, with said East line of Olive Street, to the place of BEGINNING.
ORDINANCE NO. 78-32
ANNEXING ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DES-
CRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID
TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE
RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AIyP BINDING SAID FUTURE
INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE,, ID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and ocknowYdged by each
and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to -wit:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 23 and 24 of San Gabriel Estates, a subdivision in Williamson County,
Texas, according to the map or plat thereof of record in Cabinet A-365, Plat Records,
Williamson County, Texas.
(SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO)
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and is not more than one-half (1/2) mile in width; and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 10th day of October,
1978, such date being not less than 10 and not more than 20 days from the date hereof; and
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the same, the
City Council has voted to grant such petition and to annex said territory to the City of
Georgetown, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas;
That the foregoing described property be and the same is hereby annexed to the Cityof
Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, be and the some are hereby extended to include the above described territory within the
City Limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the same shall hereinafter be included
within the territorial limits of said city, and said land and future inhabitants thereof shall
hereafter be entitled to al I rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said city.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of Georgetown, Texas,
a certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all members of the City Council this 14th day of
November, 1978.

FIELD NOTES for a 12.84 acre tract out of the D. Wright Survey, Abstract No.13, in
Williamson County, Texas; and being all of Lots 1, 2, 3, 23, and 24 of San Gabriel
Estates as shown on the plat recorded in Cabinet A-365 of the platrecords of Williamson
County, Texas; and being more particularly described as:
BEGINNING at a point in the westerly right of way line of Ranch Road 2338 at the common
corner of Lots 3 and 4 of San Gabriel Estates.
THENCE S 35015' E for a distance of 1026.5 feet along the westerly property line of
Ranch Road 2338 and Lot 3, 2, an d 1 to a point at the most South Easterly corner of Lo t 1;
and being in the present city limit line of Georgetown, Texas;
THENCE S 3101 VW for a distance of 132.6 feet, along the most southerly property line
of Lot 1, the present city limits line and the street intersection property line to a point
in the easterly property eine of Bootys Crossing Road;
THENCE N 82009' W for a distance of 999.2 feet along the property line of Bootys
Crossing Road and Lots 1, 24, and 23 to a point at the corner of 23 and 22A;
THENCE N 07051' E for a distance of 550.0 feet along the common property line between
Lots 23 and 22 A to a point at the common corner of Lots 23, 22A, 4 and 3;
THENCE N 54045' E for a distance of 356.3 feet alona the common line of lots 3 and 4
to the point of beginning.
