BE I T ORDAINED BY THE CIN OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS WHEREAS, a petition has been received from James T. Galpin, the owner of Lots 339 and 340 of the First Resubdivision of Serenada Country Estates Unit II of Williamson County, Texas; WHEREAS, the petition states that the public utility easement running along and 10 feet either side of the common boundary between Lots 339 and 340 of said Subdivision has not been used for any public utilities and that more convenient and serviceable easements do exist, and WHEREAS, the petitioner states that he desires to construct a structure and fences that would extend across the common boundary line between the above mentioned lots and that it is desirable that said easement be abandoned and vacated; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that the easement described in Exhibit "A", is hereby vacated, closed and abandoned, except that the City of Georgetown reserves for itself or for any public utility company, the right to maintain, repair and replace any water, sewer or other utility line presently located in, upon or over said easement. Read, passed and approved on first reading this 12th day of September 1978. Read, passed and approved on second and final reading this 22nd day of September, 1978.
