AN ORDINANCE RENAMING A CITY STREET LOCATED IN THOUSAND OAKS
SUBDIVISION PRESENTELY KNOWN AS WOODWAY DRIVE. TO WOODVIEW DRIVE,
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO TAKE APPROPRIATE MEASURES TO AFFECTUATE
THE CHANGE IN NAME.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIN OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
That the Street lying within the Corporate limits of the City of Georgetown which
has been and presently disignated as Woodway Drive in said City of Georgetown, said
portion of the street beginning at Modmont Drive and running in a Westerly direction whereit
intersects Rockcrest Drive and being the same street which has bben and is now known and
designated by signs and otherwise as Woodview Drive, and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDINAED that the City Manager of the City of Georgetown shall
do all things necessary and expedient to affectuate the aforesaid change in the name of
Woodway Drive to Woodview Drive.
PASSED on the first reading this 8th day of August, 1978, by a unanimous vote of all members
of the Council.
PASSED on the second ad final reading this 12th day of September, 1978 by an unanimous
vote of all members of the council.
