HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 78-21 - Electric RatesORDINANCE NO. 78-21 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE UTILITY RATE ORDINANCE PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 8TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1977 WHICH PROVIDES FOR RATES AND CHARGES FOR SALES MADE AND SERVICES RENDERED IN CONNECTION WITH CITY OF GEORGETOWN UTILITIES BY AMENDING SECTION I WHICH SETS ELECTRIC UTILITY RATES: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, that Section of the Utility Rate Ordinance enacted by the City of Georgetown on the 8th day of February, 1977 is hereby rescinded and in lieu thereof it is further Ordained by the City Council of the City of Georgetown that Section I shall hereafter read as follows: SECTION I. The monthly rates and charges for the sales made and services rendered by the City of Georgetown Electric System are hereby established, levied, fixed and prescribed as follows: ELECTRIC RATES DOMESTIC USE TOTAL ELECTRIC RATE First 15 KWH, $1.42 net, (Minimum Bill) First 200 KWH, $5.60 net,(Minimum Bill) 5.83/KWH for the next 35 KWH 2.62/KWH for the next 300 KWH GCS 4.53/KWH for the next 40 KWH 1.38/KWH for the next 1000 KWH V= 2.43/KWH for the next 110 KWH 1.22/KWH for the next 2000 KWH V 2.03/KWH for the next 100 KWH 1.32/KWH for all additional KWH 1.43/KWH for all additional KWH SCHOOL RATE (NON-TAXABLE) LARGE COMMERCIAL First200 KWH $8.50 net, (Minimum Bill) 3.93/KWH for the next 3,800 KWH 3.131/KWH for the next 4,000 KWH 2.63�/K W H for the nex t 6, 000 KW H 2.03/KWH for all additional KWH CHURCH RATE (NON-TAXABLE) First 30 KWH, $1.68 net (Minimum Bill) 3.13/KWH for all additional KWH INDUSTRIAL RATE Demand Charge $2.00 per KW of demand Energy Charge 1.37/KWH for the first 10,000 KWH 1.1 �/KWH for the next 40,000 KWH 1.0�/KWH for all additional KWH 3.93G/KWH for the first 2000 KWH 2.43/KWH for the next 5000 KWH 1.93/KWH for all additional KWH (No more customers on this rate) COMMERCIAL RATE First 15 KWH, $1.42 net, (Minimum Bill) 5.13/KWH for the next 485 KWH 2.63/KWH for all additional KWH READ, PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council on first reading as an emergency at a meeting held at the City Hall in the City of Georgetown, this 20th day of July 1978. ATTEST: City e cre ry �.L c, D,&, Jcfn C. Doerfler, M yor City Attorney k () RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO GRANT AN AIR- CRAFT MAINTENANCE PERMIT TO J. R. BEAN, DBA AIRCRAFT, INC. TO PERFORM MAINTENANCE ON AIRCRAFT AT.THE GEORGETOWN MUNCI- PAL AIRPORT. WHEREAS, Mr. J. R. Bean, doing business as Airicraft, Inc. is an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic, Licensed by the FAA, and WHEREAS, Mr. Bean is desirous of offering his services to Aircraft owners and operators at the Georgetown Municipal Airport on a non-exclusive, non- discriminatory basis, and , . WHEREAS, Mr. Bean will offer his services on call after normal operating hours and on weekends to better serve the General Aviation public, and WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown Municipal Airport Ordinance requires that before an individual or corporation can do business on the Airport that a written permit be issued by the City Council or its duly autorized agent, and WHEREAS, the Georgetown Municipal Airport Board having reviewed Mr.: Bean's application and qualifications, recommends approval of such a permit for a 6 (six) month period. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of George- town that the City Manager is authorized to issue a Permit to Mr. J. R. Bean to operate a Commercial Business, DBA as Airicraft, Inc. on the Georgetown Municipal Airport to provide Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Service for a 6 (six) month period effective on date of issuance.
