WILLIAMS ADDITION UNIT FIVE
ANNEXING ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING
THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CIN SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID
TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE
RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE
INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each
and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to -wit:
WILLIAMS ADDITION, UNIT FIVE (5), a subdivision in Williamson County, Texas,
according to the map or plat thereof of record in Vol. , Page , Plat Records,
Williamson County, Texas.
(SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO)
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and is not more than one-half (1/2) mile in width; and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 21st day of March, 1978,
such date being not less than 5 and not more than 30 days from the date hereof; and
r.. WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the some,
CIO.* the City Council has voted to grant such petition and to annex said territory to the City of
Georgetown, Texas;

That the foregoing described property be and the same is hereby annexed to the City
of Georgetown, Williamson county, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, be and the some are hereby extended to include the above described
territory within the city I i mi is of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the same shall here-
after be included within the territorial limits of said city, and said land and future inhabitants
thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the City
of Georgetown, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said city.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of Georgetown, Texas,
a certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED by an affirmative vote of all members of the City Council this 11 th day of
April, 1978. -

EXHIBIT "A" - WILLIAMS V
BEING 1.65 acres of land in the Nicholas Porter Survey, Abstact No. 497, in Williamson
County, Texas, and being out of and a part of a 72.80 acre tract described in a deed from
Russell Parker and wife, Irene Williams Parker to Russell D. Parker and wife, Mary F.
Parker and Ronald W. Parker and wife, Billie Ruth Parker, deed of record in Vol. 571,
Page 148 of the Deed Recordsof Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at an iron stake marking the most southerly corner of Lot 1, Blk.14
of Williams Addition Unit IV, a subdivision of record in Cab. C, Slide 355, of the Plat
Records of Williamson County, Texas; said point also being on the Northeast margin of
Northwest Blvd. and bind the most westerly corner of Lot 1 hereof; this point stands approx-
imately S 73022% 5,315.00 feet from the Northwest corner of the Nicholas Porter Survey.
THENCE S 48047'E, 139.13 feet and S 80 28'E, 58.62 feet along the Southeast boundary
line of Williams Addition Unit IV to a corner hereof, said point being the most westerly
corner of a 1.802 acre tract conveyed to the E. F. G. Corporation, deed of record in Vol. 608,
Page 775, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, this point is hwere the North
margin of Northwest Blud. intersects the Southeast margin of Janis Drive;
THENCE N 41000'E, 356.21 feet ALONG THE proposed Southeast margin of Janis Dr.
and the Northwest boundary line of the said 1.802 acre tract to the most northerly corner therof,
and being the most easterly corner of this subdivision, said point also being on the South-
west boundary line of a 6.73 acre tract conveyed to Carter and Hughes Investments, deed
of record in Vol. 677, Page 599, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas;
THENCE N 48047'W, 187.67 feet to an iron stake marking the most northerly corner hereof,
saidgoint being on the Southeast boundary line of Williams Addition Unit IV and being
S 41 131W, 13.00 feet from the most easterly corner of Lot 5, Block 14 thereof;
THENCE S 41013'W, 387.00 feet along the Southeast boundary line of the said Block 14 to
the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
ORDINANCE -'NO. 78-18
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, ON THE 12th
DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP, AND MAK-
ING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE:
TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF F. L. Mc REE - NW 1/4 of BLOCK I - CLAMP
ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE MAP THEREOF FROM R -S TO C- 1, AS HERE-
INAFTER SET FORTH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of
changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate:
NORTHWEST 1/4 OF BLOCK I - CLAMP ADDITION
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the zoning
ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning
Ordinance on the above described property from R -S Residential to C-1 Commercial, which
said meeting was held on the 4th day of April, 1978: and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zoning Ordinance,
gave notice of such hearing by publishing some one time in the WILLIAMSON COUNTY
SUN, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which notice stated the time
and place of hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first day of
such publication; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property as required by law and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the Zoning
Ordinance, said approval being given by said Commission on April 4, 1978;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be amended
so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from R -S
Residential to C-1 Commercial.
Read, passed and adopted by 5 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 11th day of April,
1978, on first reading.
Read, passed and adopted by 4 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 9th day of May, 1978
on second reading.

RESOLUTION - IOOF CEMETERY FINAL PLAT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That the City of Georgetown, owner of the hereon described subdivision of cemetery lots
to be known as the "1978 South Addition to the I.O.O.F. Cemetery", is hereby authorized
to file for record in the office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, the plat of
said subdivision attached hereto, and the County Clerk of Williamson County, is hereby
authorized to file for record this plat of land.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this the 9th day of May, 1978.
