NO. 78-13 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GOERGETOWN, TEXAS, ON THE 12th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP, AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHEAST INTERSECTION OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE -HART STREET, ACCORDING -TO THE MAP THEREOF FROM C1 LOCAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO C2A COMMERCIAL FIRST HEIGHT, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ;THE CITY OF, GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purposes of changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate: (See Exhibit A) AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and, WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from C1 Local Commercial District to "C2A Commercial First Height", which said meeting was held on the 7th day of March, 1978; and, WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishingsame one time in the WILLIAMSON COUNTY SUN, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which notice stated the time and place of hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first day of such publication; and WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of the lots within 200 feet of the above described property as required by law; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance, said approval being given by said Commission on March 7, 1978; NOW, THEREFO RE, BE I T O RD41 N ED by the Ci ty Counci i of the City of Georgetown, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of George- town, be amended so that the property described above shall be and the some is hereby removed from "Cl Local Commercial District" to "C2A Commercial First Height". Read, Passed, and adopted by 5 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this the 14th day of . March, 1978, on first reading. Doerfler, rayor EXHIBIT "A" Being part of Block H of the Dalrymple Addition to said City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, as shown by the revised map of said City of record in the County Clerk's Office of said County, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the NW corner of said Block "H" for the NW corner hereof, an iron rod for comer; THENCE East with the North line of said Block "H", 102 feet, an iron rod for the NE corner hereof, THENCE South 94 feet, an iron rod for the SE corner hereof, THENCE W 102 feet, an iron rod for the SW corner hereof on the West line of said Block "H"; THENCE North 94 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, and being the same property conveyed by Thomas E. ORDINANCE NO.78-14 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, ON THE 12TH DAY OF FEB.1968, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP, AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF DONALD E. PARKER ON RIVERBEND STREET, LOT 5 BLOCK 11, ACCORDING TO THE MAP THEREOF FROM C1 to C2A, AS HEREIN- AFTER SET FORTH: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate: LOT 5, BLOCK 11 -QUAIL MEADOW UNIT III AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the zoning ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and, WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from C1 Commercial to C2A Commercial, which waid meeting was held on the 7th day of March, 1978; and, WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this admendment to the Zoning Ordinance, gav a notice of such hearing by publishing same one time in the WILLIAMSON COUNTY SUN, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which notice stated the time and place of hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first day of such publication; and WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of the lots within 200 feet of the above described property as required by law and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance, said approval being given by said Commission on March 7, 1978; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the City Council of the City of Georgetown, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be amended so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from C1 Commercial to C2A Commercial.
