AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING. ORDINANCE"` PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
ON THE 12th DAY OF FEB., 1968, AMENDMENT THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP,
AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL
ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF M. DAVID COTHRAN AND
MARY ELIZABETH COTHRAN AT THE CORNER OF SECOND STREET AND
COLLEGE STREET, ACCORDING TO THE MAP THEREOF FROM RS RESIDENTIAL
SINGLE FAMILY TO RM -3 RESIDENTIALL MULTIPLE, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of
changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate:
(See Exhibit A)
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning
Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning
Ordinance on the above described property from RS Residential Single Family to "RM -3
Residential Multiple", which said meeting was held on the 6th day of December 1977;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing same one time in the WILLIAM -
SON COUNTY SUN, a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which
notice stated the time and place of hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen
days from the first day of such publication; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of the lots within 200
feet of the above described property as required by law and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the
Zoning Ordinance, said approval being given by said Commission on Dec. 6, 1977;
NOW THEREFORE,' BEAT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of George-
town, be amended so that the property described above shall be and the some is hereby
removed from "RS Residential Single Family" to "RM -3 Residential Multiple".
Read, passed, and adopted by 5 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 13th day of
December 1977, on first reading.
Read, passed and adopted by 5 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 10th day of
January 1978 on second reading.

EXHIBIT A
BEING' 1.634 acres in OL -22, Division "A" of the City of Georgetown according to the
official map thereof, and also being out of and a part of a certain tract of land described
in a deed to M. David Cothran, of record in Vol. 518, Page 176, of the deed records of
Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at an iron stake found in the South margin of Second Street marking the west
margin of a 20 foot wide drainage easement for the northwest corner hereof; .
THENCE east along to south margin of Second Street a distance of 202.21 feet to the inter-
section of Second Street and College Street for the northeast corner hereof;
THENCE south with the west margin of College Street 219.0 feet for the southeast corner hereof;
THENCE west along the south boundary line of the said M. David Cothran Tract and the
south boundary line hereof a distance of 242.74 feet to a point in the west margin of a 20
foot wide drainage easement for the southwest corner hereof;
THENCE N2o00'W, 139.27 feet along the wast margin of the afore mentioned drainage
easement to a point;
THENCE N 38004'E, 68.56 feet, continuing along the west margin of the drainage easement
to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
That, Delwood L. Kruse $ Doris H. Kruse, Owners of the hereon described subdivision to be
known as Angelina Estates is hereby authorized to file for record in the office of the County
Clerk of Williamson County, Texas, the plat of said subdivision attached hereto, and the
County Clerk of Williamson County, is hereby authorized to file for recard said plat of land.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this the 10th day of January 1978.
