ORDINANCE NO. 77-21
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
ON THE 12th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT
MAP, AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL
ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF CARL BURNETTE TRUSTEE AT THE
SOUTHWEST INTERSECTION OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35 AND FARM MARKET
2243, ACCORDING TO THE MAP THEREOF FROM RS RESIDENTIAL SINGLE
FAMILY TO C2A COMMERCIAL FIRST HEIGHT, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of changing
the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate:
(See Exhibit A)
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the zoning
ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning
Ordinance on the above described property from RS Residental Single Family to "C2A
Commercial First Height", which said meeting was held on the 1st day of November, 1977;
and,
;'r WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zoning Ordinance,
gave notice of such hearing by publishing same one time in the Williamson County Sun, a
weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which notice stated the time and place of
hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first day of such publication;
and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the Zoning
Ordinance, said approval being given by said Commission on November 1, 1977;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
that the Zoni ng Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be amended
so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby amended so that the
property described above shall be and the some is hereby removed from "RS Residential
Single Family" to "C2ACommercial First Height".
Read, Passed, and Adopted by 5 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 8th day of Nov.
1977, on first reading.
Read, Passed and Adopted by 4 votes Aye, and 0 votes Nay, this 21st day of Nov.,
1977, on second reading.

ALL OF THAT CERTAIN TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND OUT OF THE C. STUBBLE -
FIELD SURVEY IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF
THAT CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND AS CONVEYED TO GEORGETOWN ASSOC-
IATES BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 540, PAGE 711 OF THE DEED
RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID TRACT BEING DESIGN-
ATED AS RESERVE TRACT "A" IN THE ARROWHEAD SUBDIVISION AS RE-
CORDED IN PLAT BOOK 9, PAGES 14-18 INCLUSIVELY OF THE PLAT RECORDS
OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS AND SAID TRACT OF LAND BEING MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING at a concrete monument at the intersection of the West r.o.w. line of
Interstate Highway 035 with the South r.o.w. line of Farm to Market Highway #2243 at the
Northeast corner of the said Reserve Tract "A" and the Northeast corner of the said
Georgetown Associates tract for the Northeast corner hereof:
THENCE with the West r.o.w. line of Interstate Highway #35, S 21000' E for a distance
of 912.91 feet to an iron stake in the North line of Arrowhead Drive for the Southeast
corner hereof:
THENCE along the North line of Arrowhead Drive the following courses:
S 69000' W for a distance of 148.33 feet to an iron stake,
S 59024' W for a distance of 154.26 feet to a point of curve;
Along a curve to the left whose central angle is 9045', Radius is 2030.00 feet and whose
long chord bears S 59050' W for a distance of 345.03 feet to the point of tangency,
S 54 57' W for a distance of 196.07 feet to an iron stake at the Southwest corner of
the said Reserve Tract "A" and the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 11 of the said Arrow-
head Subdivision for the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE along the East line of the said Block 11, N 68011' W for the distance of 784.87
feet to an iron stake at the Northeast corner of Lot 10 of the said Block 11 for an inside
corner hereof;
THENCE along the North line of the said Lot 10, S 710 49'W for a distance of 125.00 feet to
an iron stake in the East line of Apache Trail for a corner hereof;
THENCE along the East line of Apache Trail, N 18011' W for a distance of 248.86
feet to an iron stake in the South line of F. M. Highway 02243 for the northeast corner of
Reserve Tract "A" and the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE along the South line of F. M. Highway 02243 the following courses:
Along a curve to the right whose central angle is 13051' Radius is 1869.85 feet and whose
sub -chord bears N 68028' E for a distance of 374.78 feet to a concrete monument at
the point of tangency,
N 71013'E for a distance of 531.62 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing
18.578 acres of land.
