THE COMMON LOT LINES OF LOTS 15, 16, and 17, BLOCK 2, COUNTRY CLUB ACRES, UNIT IV AN ADDITION IN AND TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS ACCORDING TO THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF OF RECORD IN VOL. 5, PAGE 69, PLAT RECORDS WILLIAMSON COUNTY TEXAS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN TEXAS WhtKtAJ, a petition has been received trom Robert A. Jenkins and wife Ann B. Jenkins, Joseph R. Lanthier and wife, Mary Ann Lanthier and Harold S. Parker, Individ- ually and as Attorney in Fact for J. T. Parker, Jr. and wife, Annie E. Parker, Ralph Parker and wife, Pegee N. Parker, Vivian N. Dunman and husband, Cecil Dunman; and Peggy M. Parker, wife of Harold S. Parker, the owners of Lots 15, 16 and 17, Block 2, Country Club Acres, Unit IV, an addition in and to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof of Record in Vol. 5, Page 69, Plat Records, Williamson County, Texas and property adjoining the same, and WHEREAS, the petition states that a dedicated golf cart path lying 5 feet either side of the common lot lines of the said lots 15, 16, and 17, as herein described by Exhibit A attached hereto, was dedicated for public use and convenience for the purpose of access from Gabriel View Drive in said Country Club Acres, Unit IV as aforesaid, to Country Club Road, but that in fact said easement does not extend across property adjoining said lots and which said adjoining property lies between said easement and Country Club Road; and WHEREAS, Harold S. Parker, et al, own such adjoining property and have consented and agreed to, grant an easement at another location which would provide access across another lot in the said subdivision and across such adjoining property as aforesaid, both being owned by Harold S. Parker, et al, which would provide and give equal access and in fact total access from within said subdivision to Country Club Road as was originally intended, and WHEREAS, petitioners request only the abandonment of the aforesaid golf cart alley and not of any public utility. easements that lie along the common lot lines of Lots 15, 16 and 17 aforesaid, . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED. by the City Council of Georgetown, Texas that the golf cart alley and public easement lying along the common lot lines of the aforesaid Lots 15, 16 and 17, Block 2, of the said Country Club Acres, Unit IV, be and the same is hereby vacated, ,closed, and abandoned, except that the existing public utility easement over and across the same common easement is hereby retained and reserved unto the City of Georgetown, Texas with the right to repair, maintain and replace any water, sewer or other utility line presently located in or over said public utility easement or which may be placed in or over said public utility easement. Crawford, Mayor, City of Georgetown City Secretary APPROVED BEFORE ADOPTION: City Attorney EXHIBIT A BEING a part of Lots 15, 16 and 17, Block 2, Country Club Acres Unit IV, an addition in and to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, according to the map or palt thereof record, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNIN3 at a point 5 feet S 760 30' E. of the most southwesterly corner of said Lot 15 at the common point with the most northerly corner of Lot 14, Block 2, Country Club Acres, Unit II, as aforesaid; THENCE N 30000' E 211.32 feet more or less and parallell with the common lines of said Lots 15, 16 and 17 to the West ROW line of Gabriel View Drive; THENCE in a northwesterly direction and along the curve or arc of Gabriel View Drive a distance of 10 feet more or less, to a point located 5 feet from the most southeasterly corne of Lot 17; THENCE S 30000' W and parallel[ with the common Lot line of said Lots 15, 16 and17, a distance of 211.32 feet more or less to a point located 5 feet N 340 30' 15 W of the most northwesterly corner of said Lot 15 and the most southwesterly corner of said Lot 17; THENCE S 340 30-15 E to the most northwesterly corner of Lot 15 and the most south- westerly corner of Lot 17 as aforesaid; THENCE S 760 30' E 5 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. Dunman and husband, Cecil Dunman, of Williamson County, Texas, for valuable consideration, have granted, and conveyed and by these presents do grant and convey unto the Citizens of Georgetown, Texas, and the general public, their heirs, successors and assigns, the free and uniterrupted use, liberty, privilege and easement of passing in and along a certain way, together with free ingress and egress to and for the said grantees, their heirs, successors and assigns, and their agents, employees, and tenants, by foot, as by them shall be necessary or convenient, at all times and seasons forever, in, along, upon, and out of said way, in common with us, the said grantors, our heirs and assigns, and our agents, employees and tenants, said access easement being more particularly described by Exhibit A attached hereto. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the rights and privileges aforesaid, to them, the Citizens of Georgetown, Texas, and the general public, their heirs, successors and assigns, to their proper use and behoof in common with Grantors herein, our heirs and assigns, and our tenants. Dunman Cecil Dunman EXHIBIT A BEI NG, a part of Lot 12, Country Club Acres, Unit IV, an addition in and to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas according to the map or plat thereof of record, Plat records Williamson County, Texas and more particularly described as follows, to-wi t: BEGINNING at the most northeasterly corner of Lot 12 as aforesaid, and also being the most southeasterly corner of Lot 13 of said addition, THENCE S 390 W along the common lot lines of said Lots 12 and 13, a distance of approx- imately 335 feet, more or less, and past the most northwesterly corner of said Lot 12, and across a tract of land owned by Harold S. Parker, et al, out of the J. B. Pulsifer Survey A 498, to a point in the East ROW line of Country Club Road; THENCE, in a southerly direction and along the East ROW of said Country Club Road a distance of 5 feet for a corner; THENCE N 390 E approximately 335 feet, more or less, to a point located in the west ROW of Power Circle, said point being 5 feet more or less from the most northeasterly corner of said Lot12; THENCE, in a northwesterly direction and along the West ROW line of Power Circle 5 feet, more or less, to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE GENERAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN FOR WILLIAMSON COUNTY, AND SUPPORTING ANY ACTS TO PROMOTE AND IMPLEMENT THE PLAN. WHEREAS, The Texas Highway Department has initiated action for the development, in cooperation with local governments and Regional Planning Commissioners, of general transportation plans with emphasis on the development of highways and major roads for each city not covered by an Urban Transportation Study; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas after due consideration, is of the opinion that the City Transportation Plan, with its provisions for continuous updating will be of great value and is in the best interest of the City; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas; That the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, hereby accepts the General Transportation Plan for Williamson County, and, further, will support any act or acts to promote and implement the plan.
