AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION
OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AND THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 60.92 ACRES
OF LAND WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT
TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMIT
OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, where all persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed
annexation of that certain tract of land located in Williamson County, Texas, consisting
of 60.92 acres was held at City Hall on the 13th day of May, 1980; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper having
general circulation in the City of Georgetown, Texas, and in the above territory; and
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory lies within the extraterritorial
jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas:
The following described land and territory lying adjacent to and adjoining the
City of Georgetown, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Georgetown,
Texas, and said territory hereinafter described shall hereafter be included within the
boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, and the present boundary limits of such
City at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered
and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of
Georgetown, Texas to wit:
Being that certain tract and parcel of land
described on Exhibit A attached hereto and
made a part hereof for all purposes.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 10th day of June, 1980, on first reading and
PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of July, 1980, upon second reading.

ANNEXATION
BEING 60.92 acres of land in the William Addison Survey, Abs-
tract No. 21 in Williamson County, Texas, and being 18.70 ac-
res out of the Missouri -Kansas -Texas Railroad Right -Of -Way,
5.30 acres out of the Mrs. J. D. Hughes tract of record in Vol-
ume 397, Page 194 of the Deed Records of said County and State,
and 36.92 acres out of the Bill Putney Builders tract, of re-
cord in Volume 691, Page 702 of the Deed Records of said County
and State, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the centerline of said Missouir-Kansas-
Texas Railroad Right -Of -Way at Station 858+90, said point being
(X) the present city limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas;
IqIq THENCE, S 630 00' W, 50.00 feet to a point for the Northwest
corner hereof, said point being on the West Right -Of -Way line
(29 of said railroad;

to a point for an ell corner hereof;
THENCE, S 560 35' 30" W, 50.31 feet to an ell corner hereof;
THENCE, continuing at 100.00 feet distant from said railroad
center line and along the West Right -Of -Way line of said rail-
road, S 27° 00' E, 2887.65 feet to a point for an ell corner
hereof;
THENCE, with a fence, N 360 04' E, 56.08 feet to an ell corner
hereof;
THENCE, continuing at 50.00 feet distant from said railroad
centerline and along the West Right -Of -Way line of said railroad,
S 27° 00' E, 405.75 feet to a point at offset Station 911+70
for the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE, leaving said Right -Of -Way line and continuing N 63* 00'
E. at 50.00 feet pass a point on the centerline of said rail-
road, at 100.00 feet pass a point on the East Right -Of -Way line
of said railroad, 500.00 feet to a point for the Southeast cor-
ner hereof;
THENCE, at 450.00 feet distant from the centerline of said rail-
road, N 270 00' W, 686.06 feet to a point for an ell corner
hereof;
THENCE, with a fence, being common to said Hughes and Putney
Builders tracts, S 34° 30' 30" W. 56.89 feet to a point for an
ell corner hereof;
THENCE, at 400.00 feet distant from the centerline of said rail-
road, N 270 00' W, 2611.08 feet to a point for an ell corner
hereof;

THENCE, S 630 00' W, at 400.00 feet pass the East Right -Of -
Way line of said railroad, 450.00 -feet to .the. POINT .OF BEGIN-
NING, containing 60.92 acres of land, more or less.
