ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE REDUCING AN EASEMENT LYING ALONG THE REAR SOUNDRY
OF LOT 3, IN BLOCK 7 of UNIT 2, SERENADA EAST, A SUBDIVISION IN WILLIAMSON
COUNTY, TEXAS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Clifford D. and Brenda J. Davis, owners
of lot 3, in Block 7, Uni t 2, Serenada East, Wi II iamson County, Texas;
WHEREAS, the petitionstates that the public utility easement running along and 10 feet
inside the back boundry of Lot 3 of said subdivision has not been used for any public utilities,
and
WHEREAS, the petitioners state that they desire to build a structure (detached garage) that
would extend into the above mentioned easement and that it is desirable that said easement be
reduced in size to 4 feet;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, that the easement described in Exhibit "A" is hereby reduced to 4 feet, except that the
City of Georgetown reserves for itself or for any public utility company, the right to maintain,
repair, and replace any water, sewer or other utility lines presently located in, upon or over
said easement.
Read, passed and approved on first reading this 10th day of June, 1980. Read, passed,
and approved on second and final reading this 8th day of July, 1980.
