AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2.0403,
AREA REGULATIONS FOR C-1 LOCAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICTS AND 2.0503, AREA REGULATIONS FOR
C -2A COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN ZONING ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown did adopt the
City of Georgetown Zoning Ordinance on the 12th day of February, 1968;
and
WHEREAS, amendments regulating the area requirements in commercial
districts is deemed necessary for the preservation of the general wel-
fare of the City; Now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown:
Section 2.0403 of the City of Georgetown Zoning Ordinance is hereby a-
mended to read as follows:
2.0403 Area Regulations
The area regulations of the "R -M" District Regulations
shall apply except that (a) no rear yard is required for
a non-residential use that is on a lot that does not
back upon an "R" District, (b) side yards of four (4)
feet only are required on a lot used for a non-residential
purpose provided that along a side lot line adjoining an
"R" District a side yard is provided as required in the
adjoining "R" District, (c) the front yard shall have a
depth of not less than 15% of the lot depth, but not greater
than twenty-five (25) feet.
Section 2.0503 of the City of Georgetown Zoning Ordinance is hereby
amended to read as follows:
2.0503 Area Regulations
The area regulations as set forth in Section 2.0403 for
the "C-1" District shall apply.
