AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION
C. 2. A. OF THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan for the South San Gabriel Urban
Renewal Addition to the City of Georgetown was approved by the George-
town Urban Renewal Agency; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas has
assumed the responsibilities of the Georgetown Urban Renewal Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan, Section F. establishes the
procedure for changes in the approved plan; and
WHEREAS, the procedures established in Section F. of the Urban
Renewal Plan have been followed; Now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown that
Section C. 2. A. of the Urban Renewal Plan for the South San Gabriel
Urban Renewal Addition be amended to read as follows:
A. Permitted Land Uses
The. following land uses shall be permitted in the land use
districts all as -shown on the Land Use and Zoning Map #2.
(1) RL District
In the RL District, no building or land shall be used
except for uses allowed in the RS District of the City
of Georgetown Zoning Ordinance.
(2) RH District
In the RH District, no building or land shall be used and
no building hereafter shall be erected or structurally
altered, unless otherwise provided in this plan, except
for uses allowed in the RM -2 District of the City of
Georgetown Zoning Ordinance.
(3) B District
In the B District, no building or land shall be used, and
no building hereafter shall be erected or structurally
altered unless otherwise provided in this plan, except
for uses allowed in the C-1 District of the City of George-
town Zoning Ordinance.
(4) P District
In the P District, no building or land shall be used and
no building hereafter shall be erected or structurally
altered, unless otherwise provided in this Plan, except
for one or more of the following uses:
(A) Public parks and playgrounds, public recreation,
community building and public open space.
(B) Municipal buildings and facilities except storage
yards, shops or other public uses of an obnoxious
nature, museums, police and fire stations.
(C). Electrical Substation.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED on first reading this 8th day
of April, 1980, and second reading this.
