ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A CUL-DE-SAC
AT THE END OF OAK LANE LYING BETWEEN LOTS 6 AND 7
BLOCK 4, CRESTVIEW ADDITION, UNIT II, AND LOTS 8, 9,
AND 10, BLOCK 1, CRESTVIEW ADDITION, UNIT III, A
SUBDIVISION IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the Crestview Baptist
'Church, the owner of Lots 6 and 7, Block 4, Crestview Addition,
Unit II, and Lots 8, 9, and 10, Block 1, Crestview Addition, Unit III
a subdivision in Williamson County, Texas;
WHEREAS, the petition states that the Petitioner desires that
the cul-de-sac at the end of Oak Lane which is adjoined on three (3)
sides by your Petitioner's property, and which lies parallel to and
north of Ranch Road is not being used for any public ingress or
egress in that your Petitioner owns all of the adjacent property, and
that it would be beneficial for your Petitioner to have such cul-de-
sac at the end of Oak Lane adjoining its property vacated and
abandoned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City
of Georgetown, Texas, that the cul-de-sac at the end of Oak Lane
which is adjoined on three (3) sides by property owned by the Peti-
tioner, being Lots 6 and 7, Block 4, Crestview Addition, Unit II,
and Lots 8, 9, and 10, Block 1, Crestview Addition, Unit III,
Subdivision in Williamson County, Texas, is hereby vacated, closed
and abandoned except that the City of Georgetown reserves for
it. I f or for any public utility company, the right to maintain,
repair and replace any water, sewer or other utility lines which
may be presently located in, upon or over the cul-de-sac at the
end of Oak Lane.

DESCRIPTION FOR CRESTVIEW BAPTIST CHURCH
BEING the perimeter description of Oak Lane, a 50 foot wide
street which terminates in a cul-de-sac with a radius of 50
feet. Said street extends Northward from Ranch Road into
Block 1 of Crestview Addition, Unit Three, a subdivision plat
of record in Cabinet B, Slide 88, Plat Records of Williamson
County, Texas. The following description being prepAred from
data of record and not from a survey made on the ground.
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 5 of said Block 1,
in the North line of Ranch Road, 50 fee's wide. The Southeast
corner of Block 1 which is in the West line of Farm Road 2338
bears N 56°12' E 283.2 feet.
THENCE S 56012' W 50.57 feet with the North line of Ranch Road
to the Southeast corner of Lot 11.
THENCE N 42°25' W 132.79 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 10
and to the mouth of the cul-de-sac.
THENCE with the arc of the curve of the cul-de-sac to the right.
At an, arc distance of 65.61 feet pas_, the Northeast corner of
Lot 10, continue 64.93 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 8,
continue 60.65 feet to the Nortllwrst c,_,rner of Lot 6, and
continue 70 feet to the mouth of t:ie cul. -de -sac.
THENCE S 42025' E at 10.91 feet 1,a5S t,e Northwest turner of
Lot 5, continuing in ail•140.31 feet: t„ the POINT OF BEGINNING.
