ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE"
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS ON THE 12th DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING A PART OF THE MAP OF
THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE:' TO CHANCE THE PROPERTY
OF J. E. BREEDING, et al, and J. T. PARKER, et al,
ACCORDINGTO THE MikP THEREOF FROM RS RESIDENTIAL
SINGLE FAMILY TO C-211 COMM1:RC1A1,-SEC0ND IfEICEIT,
AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose
of changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate:
Being 10.44 acres in Williamson County, Texas, about 9.5 acres
being in the N. Porter Survey, Abs. No 497 and 0.94 acres in
the D. Wright Survey, Abstract No 13, and being more fully
described in attached Exhibit "A"

AND WHERiAS,
Lhe City Council has submitter; the proposed change in the
Zoning
Ordinance to
the City Planning Commission
for it's recommendation and
report;
and,
V
WHEREAS, the
City Planning Commission has
approved the changing of said

Zoning
Ordinance on
the above described property
from RS Residential Single
Q
Family
to C -2B Conmiercial-Sc^ond height, which said
meeting was held on the
6th
day of November, 1979; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the
Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing same one time in a
weekly newspaper in the City of CuorgL'tot;n, Texas, which notice. st.ited tice time
and place of hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the
first day of such publication; and
WHEREAS, writAun notice w:rs giv.n to all of the owners of the lots within
�U feet of the above described property as required by law; and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the
Zoning Ordinance, said approval being given by said Commission on November 6, 1979;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE City Council of the City of. Georgetown,
that the 'Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, bu
amended so that the property described above sliall be and the same is hereby removed
for "RS Residential Single Family" to C-2 BCoi:nnercial, Second Height.
