PRESCRIBING AND SETTING LANDFILL USE FEES FOR THE
LANDFILL DISPOSAL FACILITY OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF SUCH FEES,
BAKING EXCEPTIONS FOR APPLICATION TO CERTAIN PERSONS
IN SPECIFIED SITUATIONS FIXING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
HEREOF AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
The following fee rates per load or unit shall be collected by The City
Manager or his delegate, for the City of Georgetown, Texas, for the use of the
landfill sanitary disposal facility of the City of Georgetown, Texas.
A. ALL REFUSE EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE HEREINAFTER ENUMERATED:

1. Private Passenger Automobile and Pick-up trucks up
to and including 4 ton standard beds .......,..-......., $ 3.00
2. Open dump trucks up to 5 cubic yards and Trailers 0:4"100
3. Trucks 10 cubic yards ......... ........................ $10.00
B. BULK ITEMS SPECIFIED HEREIN SHALL BE CHARGED THE FOLLOWING FEES:
1. Kitchen ranges, refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers,
air conditioners, and bulk appliances, bed springs
and similar objects of like nature.,..............,.. $ 5.00
2. Car bodies or portions thereof....................... $18.00
C. DEAD ANIMALS:
1. Dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals of similar
size.................................:..v............. $ 1.00
2. Sheep, goats, calves, swine, and animals of
similar size ................... ............... $ 5.00
3. Cows, Horses, and any other animal of similar
size ........................ ........................ $20.00
D. EXCEPTIONS TO CERTAIN FEES':
No fees or charge shall be levied against any resident
of the City of Georgetown, Texas, for the use of the
city landfill sanitary disposal facility for such
refuse as: may accumulate as common household garbage.
Such resident must identify himself with the latest
issued garbage servicecard, showing said bill to have
been paid. Any other materials or rubbish will be at
the above rate.
PENALTY -'Penalty for violation hereof shall be punishable
by a fine not to exceed $200.00.
EFFECTIVE DATE - This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately after its passage and publication according to
law.
PASSED AND APPROVED at a Regular Meeting of the City
Council of the City ofeorgetown, Texas, at which a quorum
