AND DECLARING PENALTIES F03 THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
B8 IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas.
Section 1. No jnk shall be sold or removed from his place
of business by any junk dealer within Twenty -four -hours after
the same has been purchased or acquired, and all junk received
shall be kept separate and apart from all other articles so
that the same soy be fully identifeid, for full Twenty-four
hours after the same is receiveds provided, that this provision
shall not apply to old tin, rage and bones. Every junk dealed
shall at all times allow the City Marshal or other peace officers
the privilege of examining all articles of junk he may have re-
oeived, whether at his place of business or elsewhere, for the
purpose of ascertaining whether or not said articles are lost
or stolen. It shall be unlawful for any junk dealer to purchase
junk from any minor' unless said minor produces a written permit
from his or her parent or guardian covering each sale.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
An conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 8. Any person who shall violate any of the pro-
visions of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less
than Five Dollars nor more than One Hundred Dollars,
