GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN AND PROVIDING FOR THE INTEREST
AND SINKING FUND FOR THE YEAR 1983 AND APPORTIONING EACH LEVY FOR
THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby levied and there shall be collected
for the use and support of the municipal government of the City of
Georgetown, and to provide the Interest and Sinking Fund for the year
nineteen hundred and eighty-three, upon all property, real, personal
and mixed, within the corporate limits of said City subject to taxation,
a tax of Forty Cents (400 on each One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) val-
ualtion of property, said tax being so levied and apportioned to the
specific purposes here set forth:
(1) For the maintenance and support of the General Government
(General Fund), thirty-five cents (350 on each one hundred
dollar ($100.00) valuation of property, and
(2) For the Interest and Sinking Fund, five cents (50 on
each one hundred dollar ($100.00) valuation of property.
SECTION 2. All monies collected under this ordinance for the specific
items herein named, be and the same are hereby appropriated and set
apart for the specific purpose indicated in each item and that the
Collector of Taxes, the City Treasurer and the City Secretary shall
keep these accounts so as to readily and distinctly show the amount
collected, the amounts expended and the amount on hand at any time,
belonging to such funds, it is hereby made the'duty of the Tax
Collector of Taxes and every person collecting money for the City
of Georgetown, to deliver to the City Treasurer and the City
Secretary at the time of depositing any monies a statement showing to
what fund such deposit should be made and from what source -received.
All receipts for the City not specifically apportioned by this ordinance
are hereby made payable to the General Fund of the City.
SECTION 3. For the preservation of order and general welfare, an
emergency is hereby declared and this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage.
READ, PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, on first and final reading as an emergency this 13th day of
December 1983.

RESOLUTION DIRECTING ESTABLISHMENT OF GEORGETOWN
AIRPORT FUND BANK ACCOUNT PURSUANT TO THE TEXAS
MUNICIPAL AIRPORTS ACT TITLE 3 (a) ARTICLE 46 (d)-11
AND PROVIDING THAT NO FUNDS SHALL BE WITHDRAWN
EXCEPT FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a need exist for the establishment of the Georgetown
Airport fund bank account in order for the City of Georgetown to be
in full compliance with Article 46(d)-11 of the Municipal Airports
Act Title 3(a), Vernons Annotated Civil Statutes,
Therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Goergetown that there shall be established in a Georgetown Bank
acting as depository for City's funds an account to be designated
the Georgetown Airport Fund and all revenues derived from the
ownership, control and operation of the Georgetown Municipal Airport
shall be deposited therein and all withdrawals from said special
account shall be appropriated solely to and used by the City of
Georgetown for the airport uses authorized by the said Municipal
Airports Act. The Georgetown City Manager shall cause such fund
to be opened forthwith.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this the 13th day of December,
1983.

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1983 TAX ROLL
WHEREAS, the City Tax Collector has on December 23, 1983 submitted
to the City Council a., Tax Roll for 1983 with amounts of tax
entered as approved by this Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed said roll and found it to be in
the City's best interest to approve it as submitted; now therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN that
the Tax Roll for 1983 as submitted to the Council by the City Tax
Collector with anx)unts of tax entered as approved by the Council
is hereby in all respects approved as the Tax Roll of the City.
of Georyctown and as such shall constitute the City of Georgetown's
Tax Roll for 1983.
