AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE"
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, ON THE 12TH DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 19681 AMENDING A PART OF THE ZONING
DISTRICT MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO
CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF DONALD F. PERRY AT 704
UNIVERSITY BEING .59 ACRES PART OF OUTLOT 29 AND
OUTLOT 30 OF DIVISION A OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN CONVEYED TO DONALD F. PERRY BY DEED
AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 910 PAGE 740 O F THE DEED
RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS FROM R -M3
MULTI -FAMILY DISTRICT TO C-1 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
AS HERAFTER SET FORTH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the zoning ordinance on the followincj'
described real estate:
Being a part of an 0.59 acre tract, which is part of Outlot
29 and Outlot 30 of Division A of the City of Georgeto,#n ,
said 0.59 acre tract being described in the attached Exhibit"
"A", which exhibit is incorporated herein by reference as
copied herein word for words
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the prcpcsed
change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission
for its recommendation and report; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommender'. '_-Ire
changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described propsx ty
from R -M3 Multi -Family Cistrict to C-1 Commercial District, which
said meeting was held on the 5th day of July, 1983; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by public::; ng
Same in a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Te,-:ta
which notice stated the time and place of hearing and which titre
was not earlier than fifteen days from the first day of such
publication; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given to all of the owners of
the lots within 200 feet of the above described property as
required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change
aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance, said approval being given by
said Commission on July 5, 1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas that the Zoning Ordinance, and the
Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be, and same are hereby
amended so that all of the property described as follows shall be
and the same is hereby removed from R -M3 Multi -Family District to
C-1 Commercial District:
Being 0.59 of an acre of land, being a portion of
Outlot 29, and Outlot 30, of Divsion A of the City
of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, as more
particularly described in the attached Exhibit

R. T. Magness, Jr. dated March 3, 1983, -said

BEING 0.59 of an acre of land, being a portion of Outlot 29, and Outlot 30, of
Division t. of the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas. Said land
also being the remainder of that certain First Tract and Second 'Tract of .1Prdr
conveyed xo Gladys Jean Perry Drake by deed as recorded in Volume 711, PAam 583,
of the Dead Records of Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground 'it
the month of February, 1983, under the supervision of R. T. Magness, Jr.,
Registered Public Surveyor, and being more particularly described as follei
BEGININING at an iron pin set on the south line of 12th Street, (State
No. 29), being the norht line of the above -referenced Drake tract, said ipr'i"tc

TUNCE, with a fence, N 0' 181 W, 264.13 feet to an iron pin set on the said
scvth line of 12th Street, for the N.E. corner of the said Drake tract, for
the N.E. corner hereof;
THENCE, West 96.50 feet, along the said south line of 12th Street, to the
Place of BEGINNING and containing 0.59 of an acre of land.
