ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

MINUTES
Members present: Kelly Thyssen (Chairperson), Susanne Paclebar, Michael Simpson
(Secretary), Micki Rundell, Mary Treuter and Lyle Warden DVM
Staff present: Jackie Carey
Absent: Anna Eby, Kelly Thyssen
Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm by Vice -Chairperson Mary Treuter.
1. Citizen's comments — none
2. Motion to approve minutes of October meeting made by Mike Simpson, seconded by
Mary Treuter, passed by unanimous vote.
3. Presentation of animal services statistical and analytical report for October 2016 and by
Jackie Carey.
Methods to increase return to owner discussed. One area to explore is discussion with
Friends of Shelter group for possible donation of dog tags for adoptees.
4. Discussion of current status of Needs Assessment Study done for the Animal Shelter.
Staff to explore providing update to council in February 2017.
5. Motion to cancel December 2016 advisory board meeting by Mary Treuter,
seconded by Micki Rundell, passed by unanimous vote.
Meeting adjourned 6:45pm.
