Members Present: Kelly Thyssen (Chairperson), Anna Eby (Councilmember), Michael Simpson (Secretary), Susanne Paclebar, Lyle Warden, DVM, Mary Treuter, Micki Rundell Staff Present: Jackie Carey Regular Session (This Regular Session may, at any time, be recessed to convene an Executive Session for any purpose authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551.) 1. Citizens Comments —none. 2. Approval of minutes from Advisory board meeting of 3-17-16 - M Simpson Motion to approve minutes of March 17 meeting, as amended, made by Kelly Thyssen, seconded by Mary Treuter, passed by unanimous vote. 3. Review of Animal shelter statistics for March 2016 - J Carey Presentation of animal services statistical and analytical report for March 2016 by Jackie Carey. Shelter monthly statistics calculations will be modified to correctly remove monthly beginning inventory in cumulative totals. No kill shelter status achieved for both dogs and cats. 4. Review and discussion on Power Point presentation for workshop with Council on 5-10-16 — K Thyssen The Animal Shelter workshop presentation draft was reviewed and further edits directed by the advisory board. The workshop presentation to city council is scheduled for May 10, 2016. Time of presentation is not yet announced. The advisory board viewed the video clip for public awareness of animal shelter prepared by the city staff videographer. All considered this outstanding work and needs to be available to the public in multiple media venues, including the workshop. 5.
