Members Present: Kelly Thyssen (Chairperson), Anna Eby (Councilmember), Susanne Paclebar, Michael Simpson (Secretary), and Lyle Warden (DVM) Members Absent: Andrea Brown Staff Present: Jackie Carey Meeting called to order at 6:05pm by Kelly Thyssen. Regular Session (This Regular Session may, at any time, be recessed to convene an Executive Session for any purpose authorized by the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551.) 1. Citizens comments — none 2. Consideration and approval of minutes from November 2015 meeting — M Simpson Motion to approve minutes of November 19 meeting made by Susanne Paclebar, seconded by Kelly Thyssen, passed by unanimous vote. 3. Presentation of animal services statistical and analytical report for November and December — J Carey Presentation of animal services statistical and analytical report for October, November, and December 2015 by Jackie Carey. No major fluctuations of intake and adoptions. 4. Discussion about Master Plan for the animal shelter — J Carey The bids have been received for the Request For Proposal. The RFP has two phases, Needs Assessment and Conceptual Design. Final decision will be reported when made. 5. Discussion and possible action regarding the creation of collateral for introduction of the City of Georgetown Animal Shelter to City council and the public — J Carey The city staff videographer has filmed at the Shelter and interviewed Jackie. The editing phase is expected to be completed with target date for Advisory Board review in the February 2016 meeting as preparation for a tentative workshop with the City Council on March 8, 2016. The board has decided to update of the previous presentation to the City Council for the Animal Shelter Status needs to complete for the next Advisory board meeting, February 18, 2016. Mike Simpson will work with Jackie to prepare the changes for review. Motion to adjourn made by Michael Simpson, second by Lyle Warden, passed by unanimous vote.
