Whereas, Cause No. 99-519-T368, Georgetown Independent School District v Effie Williams et al, was filed in the District Court of Williamson County, Texas to collect delinquent taxes on the following described property: A tract of land being part of Block 7, Rucker -Hodges Addition AKA part of Lot 7, Block H, South San Gabriel Urban Renewal Addition to the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas being that property more particularly described in Document # 2000052766 of the Deed Records, Williamson County, Texas Whereas, the District Court of Williamson County, Texas granted judgment on May 1, 2000, in favor of the taxing jurisdictions of Williamson County as follows: County of Williamson $656.72 City of Georgetown, Texas $763.45 Georgetown Independent School District $2,668,54 Williamson County Education District $162.04 Total Due $4,250.75 Market Value $12,000.00 (According to Williamson Central Appraisal District) Whereas, said parcel of land was offered for sale on August 1, 2000, by the Constable of Williamson County at public auction pursuant to judgment of the District Court of Williamson County, Texas, for foreclosure of the tax liens securing payment of delinquent property taxes and accrued penalty and interest; and Whereas, said parcel of land did not receive sufficient bids as set by law and were struck off to the County of Williamson, Trustee, in trust for itself, City of Georgetown, Georgetown Independent School District and Williamson County Education District pursuant to Sections 34.01(j) and (k) Property Tax Code; and Resolution No. IA09%5— Pagel of Appointment Transfer of Prperty Date Approved %2k�pSM215 Whereas, the taxing units involved desire to resell said parcel of land in an expeditious manner pursuant to Section 34.05 Property Tax Code: and Whereas, Marcos Ramos, Executor of the Estate of Genaro Ramos has tendered an offer of $2,000.00 to purchase said parcel. SECTION ONE. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. SECTION TWO. The City Council does hereby authorize the presiding officer of the body to execute a Deed Without Warranty to Marcos Ramos, Executor of the Estate of Genaro Ramos, SECTION THREE. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign this Resolution and the City Secretary to attest. SECTION FOUR. This Resolution shall become effective upon its adoption.
