Comments from the Mayor
- Welcome and Meeting Procedures
Fought spoke about his recent absence from the budget meetings due to a 'bucket list' vacation with his wife. He
assured the audience that he has been briefed on the discussion and trusts council's determinations on the
various budget items. Gipson spoke about the recent Town Hall meeting held in his district in Berry Creek
neighborhood. He briefly reviewed what was discussed in the meeting and how they will be held once a quarter.

Consideration and possible action to approve Task Order HDR -15-001 with HDR Engineering, lnc�, of Austin,
Texas, for professional engineering services related to the final engineering design for Construction Plans
Specifications and Estimate for the Southwest Bypass/Wolf Ranch Parkway Extension Improvements in
the amount of $757,500.00 -- Bill Dryden, P.E., Transportation Engineer and Edward G. Polasek, AICP,
Transportation Services Director
Dryden described the item and said this project is the first one out of the door on the 2015 bond program. He sa
this task order will help this become a shovel ready project and help determine all related costs.
Motion by Jonrowe, second by Hesser to approve the task order. Approved 7-0
H Forwarded from the Georgetown Transportation Enhancement Corporation (GTEC):
Consideration and possible action to (1) approve the updated� appraised value of 4.614 acres owned by the W.
W. Laubach Trust of $905,000; and (2) authorize a Possession and Use Agreement in the amount of $814,5
(90% of the approved appraised value), between the City and the W. W. Laubach Trust by and through its
Trustees: Wilburn Bernard Laubach and Carol Ann Laubach and Georgetown Corporation in connection with the
acquisition of real property for the Southwest Bypass Road Project -- Terri Glasby Calhoun, Real Estate
Services Coordinator, Edward G. Polasek, AlCP, Transportation Services Director and Kristina 8ilcocks, Attorne
for the City
Polasek said these next two items are the last two property acquisitions for the Southwest Bypass Road project.
He described the item for Council. He said this is a Williamson County Road Bond project and the city's
responsibility is the right-of-way. He also spoke about the Possession and Use agreements.
