A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE TEENS FOR
TOMORROW COMMUNITY SERVICE YOUTH ORGANIZATION IN
IMPROVING PHYSICAL CONDITIONS IN CHATAQUA PARK IN
COOPERATION WITH THE CITY RECREATION AND PARKS
DEPARTMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown
recognizes the importance to the community of the contributions
made by the City's many community service organizations; and
WHEREAS, the Council acknowledges the Teens for Tomorrow
youth organization as a valid community service organization; and
WHEREAS, the Council further acknowledges the benefit to t
community that would be �afforded by improved facilities a
conditions it Chataqua Park; and I
WHEREAS, the Council supports the use of Chataqua Park as a
focal point for youth activities; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS:
That the Council finds that the recitals set forth above are
true and correct and are incorporated herein.
Section II.
That the Council supports the community service efforts of
the Teens for Tomorrow youth organization in improving physical
conditions at Chataqua Park in conjunction with the City
Recreation and Parks Departments.
That the Council supports the use of Chataqua Park as a focal
point for wholesome neighborhood youth activities.
