WHEREAS, the City Council (the "Council") of the City of
Georgetown, Texas (the "City") has accepted federal grant funds from
the Federal Aviation Administration (the "FAA") in order to improve
facilities and safety at the Georgetown Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, the City has contracted for the Construction of an
extension to the Terminal Aircraft Parking Apron, the rehabilitation
of Runway 18-36 and the overlay of Taxiways A and C (the "Project");
and
WHEREAS, the FAA requires the services of a laboratory for the
testing and inspection of all the construction materials required for
the Project; and
WHEREAS, Pre -Test Laboratory
the lowest cost;
submitted the proposal with
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:

That the Council hereby approves the Contract Agreement between the
City and Pre -Test Laboratory for the materials testing for
the Project at the Georgetown Municipal Airport in the amount of
$ 8,75MO attach -ad hereto as Exhibit "A".
That the Council hereby authorize the Mayor to execute, the City
Secretary to attest to and the City Attorney to approve as to form the
Contract Agreement when the City receives formal, written notification
from the FAA that the Contract Agreement is approved.
