GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, DEPOSITORY/DEPOSITORIES, APPROVING
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS ANI
DEPOSITORY/DEPOSITORIES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas has published notice of its
intention to select a depository for city funds, and
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas, has received applications
for custody of city funds, and
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown desires to select from those
applications received the applicant or applicants offering the most
favorable terms and conditions of handling the municipal funds.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Section I. The Council finds that the recitals set forth above are true
and correct and are incorporated herein.
Section II. That the City Council hereby selects Georgetown National Bank
and Citizen State Bank as depositories of the city funds for the period
October 14, 1988 through September 30, 1990.
Section III. That the City Council directs the Finance Director to
negotiate an agreement with the depository in accordance with bid
specifications and its submitted proposal and subject to City Attorney
approval.
Section IV. That the Mayor be authorized to execute the depository
agreement and the City Secretary to attest thereto.
