HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 880345WHEREAS, P & D Technologies on behalf of Texas Commerce Bank has requested that the City Council waive Capital Recovery Fees which would normally be collected prior to the installation of water meters to serve decorative landscaping at three entrances to Sierra Vista Section 2; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to encourage such decorative landscaping as that proposed by Texas Commerce Bank in order to enhance the appearance of the neighborhood, and WHEREAS, the proposed landscape irrigation system is considered a temporary installation and its general water consumption characteristics will place less demand on the municipal water system than would a residence or a bt8iness; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas that the City Council hereby waives the assessment and collection of Capital Recovery Fees for three water meters proposed to serve the irrigation of decorative landscaping at the entrances to Sierra Vista Subdivision, Section Two as shown as the attached exhibits A & B, only as long as the meters are used for that purpose. This waiver shall tot affect the collection of Capital Recovery Fees for any construction of residences or other permanent improvements on the lots containing decorative landscaping.
