WHEREAS, -a public hearing before the City Council of the City of
Georgetown, Texas, where all'interested persons were provided with an
opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of that certain tract
of Jand located in Williamson County, Texas consisting of 43. 26 acres
was held at City Hall on the 12th day of December, 1978; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a news-
paper having general circulation in the City- of Georgetown, Texas, and
in the above territory, on the 19th day of November, 1978- and

WHEREAS, the total corporate area of the City of Georaetown,
Texas on the first day of November was 3538. 87 acres; and
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described territory lies within the extra-
territorial jurisdiction of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and adjacent to
and adjoining the City of Georgetown, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent
to and -adjoining the City of Georgetown, Texas, is hereby added and annexed
to the City of Georgetown, Texas, and said territory hereinafter described
shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the City of George -
"town, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such City, at the various
points contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and amended
so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of George-
town, Texas, to wit:

made a part hereof for all purposes.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so annexed shall
be a part of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the property so added hereb
shall bear its pro rata part of the taxes levied by the City of Georgetown,
Texas., and the inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all rights and privileg
of all citizens and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions, and
regulations of the City of Georgetown, Texas.
Section 3. The land hereby annexed is zoned as described on the map
attached hereto as Exhibit B, and made a part hereof for all purposes.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be published and passed in the manner
provided in the Charter of the City of Georgetown, Texas and the applicable
laws of the State of Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED this t7e-4 day of January, 1979, upon first

ANNEXATION OF 43.26 ACRES
BEING 43.26 acres in the David Wright Survey, Abstract No. 13, in
Williamson County, Texas.
BEGINNING at a point in the northeasterly R.O.W. line of Texas State
Highway No. 2338, said point 'being marked by a monument designated
as Engineer's Station No. 707.,.8:_ 15.8,, said point being further des-
cribed as the PT of a curve, said point bears N 58*13'E, 40.00 feet
from the centerline of the said Highway,
THENCE along said R.O.W. line with a curve concave to the Southwest
having a radius of 1949.89 feet, Northwesterly 243.55 feet along said
