Addendum
Additional drinking water sampling information is being provided as a supplement
to the Water Quality Report for 2009, which was mailed to all water utility
customers in June. The reporting of atrazine levels in a water sample in 2009
was not included in the report, but is listed in the table below. Note that the
atrazine levels did not exceed the standard.

Unregulated Contaminants
Unregulated contaminants are those for which the Environmental Protection
Agency has not established drinking water standards. The purpose of
unregulated contaminant monitoring is to assist EPA in determining the
occurrence of these contaminants in drinking water and the potential need for
future regulation. Perchlorate, which is an unregulated contaminant, was
reported as “not detectable” from a sample collected in 2009. However, the
sample date should have been reported as 2006. No sampling was required in
2009.
