ffZSOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE
SALE OF PUBLIC PROPERTYt APPROXIMATELY 2.81 ACRES
ALONG SCENIC DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown owns 2.81 acres located
along Scenic Drive, which is surplus property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it has no present or
reasonable future use for such property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of interested purchasers
fo such property;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it is in the public
interest to sell this property;
WHEREAS, in order to receive a fair price and follow the law
in accordance with disposal of property, the City desires to bid
this property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS.- THAT:
SECTION I.
The Council finds that the recitals set forth above are true and
correct and are incorporated herein verbatim as if fully set
forth at length.
The staff is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the salt
of 2.81 acres located along Scenic Drive.
