A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AND TEXAS COMMERCE BANK FOR THE C%TY
TO PROVIDE A PUBLIC AQUATICS PROGRAM AT THE SWIMMING
POQL LOCATED AT 414 SOUTH RIDGE CIRCLE AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME AND THE CITY SECRETARY TO
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas has an aquatics
program which provides a recreational service to its citizens;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds a need for additional
recreational facilities to meet the needs and desires of all
citizens of Georgetown; and
WHEREAS, Texas Commerce Bank has an established recreational
facility available for aquatics programming; and
WHEREAS, Texas Commerce Bank and the City of Georgetown
desire to enter into an aqreement for the City to provide a
Dublic aquatics program at said facilityg NOW THER0
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXA8;�
The Council finds that the recitals set forth above are true
and correct and are incorporated herein.
SECTION II.
That the Council approves the agreement between the City of
Georgetown and Texas Commerce Bank for the City to provide a
public aquatics program at 414 South Ridge Circle which agreement
is attached hereto and incorporated herein, as if fully set forth
at length.
SECTION III.
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the agreement
and the City Secretary to attest.
SECTION IV.
The ement shall be for a period from July 28, 1989 to
September p, 1989 and shall not exceed $1.00.
