PROVIDE FOR PARTICIPATION OF

PORT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME AND
THE CITY SECRETARY ATTEST.
WHEREAS, the City Council (the "Council") of the City of George-
town, Texas, did include in the City's 1988-89 Budget certain funds
for the installation of a jet fuel tank and fuel dispensing system at
the Georgetown Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, Rickey J. Peterson and Winthrop Aldrich desire to par-
ticipate with the City in the cost of this installation by donating
$101000.00 « the Airport « subject to the execution of -.
Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the parties agree that the Amendment to the Lease is
mutually beneficial to each; and
WHEREAS,

implements
and Services Policy I, Goal E, Short Range Objective 21 and Long Range
Objective I of the Century Plan -Policy Plan Elementi and is not found
to be in conflict with any other Century Plan Policy, as required by
section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.

SECTION I
All the facts recited in the preamble to this Resolution are hereby
found by the Council to be true and correct and are incorporated by
reference herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied herein
verbatim.

That the Council approves the Lease Amendment to provide for Rickey
Peterson and Winthrop Aldrich to participate in the cost of the jet
fuel facility, such Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated
herein.

That the Council authorizes the Mayor to execute and the City Secre-
tary to attest.
