MA IMA11101 I FEW I WHEREAS, City of Georgetown is acquiring right-of-way on 4ehalf of the State of Texas for purposes of expansion and improvements along Williams Drive; and WHEREAS, City of Georgetown, in accomplishing this purpose has received judgments in condemnation awards for certain 1!,roperties, known as parcel 46, from Billy C. Williams, et. al. and parcel 50, from Verna Mae Wil iams, et. al... and WHEREAS, as part of the consideration of right-of-way improvements, the City of Georgetown is required to transfer the above reference properties to the State of Texas.- and WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown desires to convey the same; WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this action implements Transportation Policy 1 of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element, and is not found to be inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Pol cy Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THI CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION I. The City Council finds that the recitals set forth above are true and correct and are adopted herein verbatim as if fully set forth at length. The City Council agrees to convey the property from parcels 46 and 50, acquired in condemnation awards, to the State of Texas. SECTION III. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the same and City Secretary to attest. A RESOLVED, this the /1-th day of A pril 1989.
