A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AND EXECUTE
ACONTRACT WITH THE CAPITAL AREA PLANNING COUNCIL TO
OPERATE PRIMARY PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINT IN THE
REGIONAL 9-1-1EMERGENCYTELEPHONE NETWORK,
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is participating in the regional 9-1-1
emergency telephone network; and
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has been d2aignated as a primary Public Safety
Answering Point;
NOW THEREFORE, BE 1-1 RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS that:
SECTION I.
The City Council hereby finds and determines that the recitals set form above are true and
correct, and are hootporated herein verbapm, as if fully set forth at length,
SECTION It.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign and execute contract with the Capital Area Planning
Council to operate primary Public Safety Answering Point,
SECTION IH,
This resolution, shall be effective immediately upon its passage.
