A RESOLUTION: APPROVING AN AGREENENTBETWEEN THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN; TEXAS ADD FLIMCAV CONSTRUCTION COMPANY,
AGTNORIZINGAPPROVAL OF THE CONSTRUCTIOS"CONTRACT FOR
WORD RELATED TO THE SIN SET DRIVE WATERLINE IMPROVEIIE.NTS,
,AND AUTHORISING THE PEVYCRTO EXECUTE TBE SILK
f,HIEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major
distributor of water and wastewater within its corporate limits;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that safe and efficient
distribution of water and wastewater is essential to the operation
of the City's Public Utilities Department; and
1ISEREAS, Flanagan Construction Company desire to enter into
a contract agreement for services related to the construction of
the Sun Set Drive I'aterlme Improvements, and authorising the Mayor
to execute the same;
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this action
implements Utilities$EnergyPolicy 3 of the Century Plan, Policy
Plan Element, and is not round`to be inconsistent or in conflict
with any other Century Kan Policies, as required by Section 2.03
of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan,
NOW THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGET90, TEXAS;
SECTIO& T. That the City Council finds the recitals set
forth above are true and correct and are incorporated herein;
SECTION II. That the City Council approves the agreement
between the City of Georgetown; Texas and Flanagan Construction
Company, begin the lora bidder on the project with a bid amount of
$42,112.90, for services related to the Sun Set Drive Waterline
Improvements, and shall be funded from Account No. 06-03-00-5266
Oak Creat Expansion - Phase IV -'$32,000,00; 06-03-00-1095 Oak
Crest - Phase 11 - $10,112.90, and all backup information attached
hereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth at length,
SECTION IIT. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
the contract documents and City Secretary to attest,
